there are videos of laser eye surgery being performed on youtube. they are close up and show all the details. There isn’t any blood involved. It takes 10 minutes for both eyes to be done. Theres also a video of it going wrong and the later consequences.
People who promote laser eye surgery do not appear to have much research or knowledge about who will experience a loss of quality again in the long term after having surgery. Its logical that if someone in the past had a poor mindset/low priority with maintaining 20/20 vision that they quickly regain myopic vision (unless the lifestyle/habits are corrected)
The flaw with what suha said is that its been proven (but often disregarded by optometrists) that giving prescription glasses to anyone with 20/20 vision will turn them into myopes/hyperopes. Glasses may make people feel smarter but they are no good for people who want 100% functioning eyeballs/eyesight. Secondly glasses limit the range that the eyes can move around thus inhibiting the function and wellbeing of the extraocular muscles.
All muscles need to be worked or they waste away. Wearing glasses has been proven in animal testing to elongate the eyeballs of the wearer. An elongated eyeball is less effective in refracting light in the correct manner

There are NEVER guaranteed results with any type of surgical or laser procedure. The vast majority of patients receive outstanding results, but you need to keep in mind that not all doctors are created equal, not all equipment is the same, and not every eyeball is the same. You are not going to find a specific answer here. Call around and ask some questions, and talk to people in your area who have had the procedure done and get their thoughts on how things went and how satisfied they are with the results. There’s a lot of misinformation on the internet, so this is a subject you really need to research yourself locally to find out the best answer for you.

I am sure there are plenty of top doctors and surgeons that wear glasses or contacts, and dont glasses make you look smarter anyway?! Get some trendy specs at least theres no risk of going blind (unless you poke yer eye out with the arm).
