One Response to “Are Contact Lens Prescriptions Related To Eyeglass Prescription?”
They are related but not exactly the same.
A contact lens prescription is less minus or more plus than the glasses – so if your contact lenses are -3.75 I would expect your glasses to be -4.00 – the basic rule is that for ever 3.00 you change it by 0.25 (although it can sometimes be different depending on how far your glasses are from your eyes).
A 1.25 difference like you describe doesn’t sound right at all and they would be quite a bit too strong – which would do exactly as you say and make your eyes tired.
